Attended the local Regionals event this Saturday just gone and taking the liberty of posting their report here for anyone who's interested.
It was a well attended event and I "think" the biggest Imperial Assault Regionals so far?
Congratulations to Alistair Scott for taking the top spot in yesterdays Imperial Assault Regionals in Exeter. Well done also to Matthew Watson for making the final and to Rob Walker, Craig Read, Dave Perks, Richard Parkes, Robert Griffin and Timothy Grievez for making the top 8 cut.
Well done also to James Ryan for taking the best painted, and all those who claimed the spot prizes.
Thanks to all players for making it such a great day of gaming, we hope you all enjoyed. It was an epic day especially those who hung around to the end to enjoy the cut. We appreciate the support from our local community and to those players who travelled great distance and contributed to the success of the day.
Special mention to Rob for taking on the TO duties so I could play for once, to Craig, Tim, Adam and Dodge for providing the entertaining post-cut commentary, Oakley for table reporting and score keeping, and to Catherine for proving all the Admiral Snack Bar catering, and keeping players fuelled with eggs-wing, yoda sodas and Death Star cakes.
Hope to see you all at the next one, or at Nationals next month!
All the top cut games will be up on our YouTube channel in the next week:-https://goo.gl/rj9oJJ

Overall it was a great day, lots of variety in the lists there and Kirton Games really put on a great show.
One of the guys from Kirton (James Fox) will also be TO at the UK Nationals so bodes well for a good event there.
It's wroth noting for those of you that dislike intentional draws, both Matt Watson and James Fox declined to take an intentional draw and played the match out.
Happy to answer any questions about the event.
