Anyone else picked this up just for the ship minis?
You get 20 x-wings, 16 y-wings, 15 b-wings and 56 tie fighters. Mix in some Star Wars micro machines and it can make for some good visuals for those that enjoy that.

Edited by mouthymercI used to love RISK... then my wife kept winning, same with Cluedo AND Monopoly, I'm pretty sure she uses weighted dice or something - so I insist on Ludo or Snakes & Ladders instead
I'm still waiting for the Star Wars edition of Candyland.
Star wars Cluedo: Who murdered the emperor? Was it Luke with the lightsaber? Han with the blaster? or...?
Star wars Sorry: trancelucent pegs in the colors of the lightsabers...*
Stars wars battleship: wich actually exists to. "You crashed my star destroyer!" Why isn't this more popular!?
* okay so this exists, but not with lightsaber playing pieces!
i would like to see a candyland version of star wars board game.
How well do these scale with the Armada fighters?
Since a friend of mine bought the game was very disappointed at first and now he and his group loves it, I just thought I'd mention it: this Game is nothing like Risk. Nothing. At. All.
It is more like the Queens Gambit if you knew that game; you fight the 3 battles of Endor at the same time. (Luke vs. Vader & Rebel fleet vs Deathstar & Deactivating the Shield Generator), playable 1v1 or 2v2 (both equally enjoyable imo) and playtime (for us) is always below 2 hours, sometimes below 1 hour.
It's a fast and very enjoyable game, also suited for non-hardcore gamers, but to press the point, it is most definitly not a risk game.
