In this case...the last point? Initiative or a crackshot?

I've been getting a feel for defenders with the following list..

Two x7 glaives with hull upgrade and a palp mobile.

I put crackshot on one glaive and I'm at 100ps.

Between palp and the extra hull the glaives are hyper tanky.the last point on just a single crackshot has been useful .it's worth the point i think to get a hit through. And it feels like the initiative point isn't super useful with this list.

Am I better served doing something else with the point ?

PS6 isn't exactly crowded, but a single crackshot isn't exactly lighting the world on fire. I'd maybe go with 2x adaptability and Baffles for the shuttle.

I'd drop the crackshot and, like thespaceinvader says, add 2x adaptability. Then if you don't want to stay at 99 points, Tactical Jammer is useful if you like to put your shuttle in the middle of things.

Crackshot shouldn't ever be a question

I'm absolutely positive you can do better for 6 points than 2 hull upgrades though

With x7 I get the feeling Stealth Device would give you more "hp" then hull upgrade.

I'm bad at dice though

1. To hell with those hulls.

2. Forget about crackshots.

3. Get Jukes and MK1/Yorr

4 Profit.

Hulls give you nothing. Crackshots are just 2 extra dmg...you shoot that and ....pufff....jukes are multi use and even if they keep focus its forcing they hand to not spend it on offence. Yorr/MK1 mitigates the stress to increase mobility even more.

Juke/Mk2 is nasty on Glaives.

I'd also argue that one of them should absolutely be Ryad. Her unpredictability gains you a LOT more than the loss of PS loses you.
