Has anyone tried to do this?

Like, the specific purpose I want with it is:

I want to have stuff on my iPad, and for it to show up on a TV. This basic functionality is easy, I can just hook up an Apple TV and I'm done.

But, I need it to do something, which would require a specific app that does this, and so far I know of none.

I need like a GM / player thing, where I don't show everything on the TV that's on the iPad.

For example, fog of war on a map, enemies behind the corners where the players still don't have line of sight, lit/unlit rooms and things like that.

Anyone know of anything like this?

You'll need to use a paid account to allow the tablet to navigate there, and the TV will also need a way to display the page (like with a connected computer) but with a little practice it should work.

I've used it a bit and just don't like how it looks. I dislike all of the streaming channels I see online that use it, everything looks cheap...

It's one of the things that actually pushed me to come up with this idea of streaming a real sit-down-at-a-table-game, instead of having each player play from home via webcam.

And I don't need any of the dice functions, character sheets, none of that. Just map movement and fog of war, pretty much... There's got to be like a map app or something.
