Aye, happy Friday to all after last weekends North American patriotism sandwich fest (although who's in it for the buns and not the filling, meh, not every metaphor is apt). Sorry to hear about that illness and missing the contest, mate. Hope we have another and you can get in on the action there and naturally, hope everything's okay.

One week closer to Wave III, one week closer to a new IFF podcast, one week closer to Vykes perpetually speaking in third person because farm work finally fried his verminous little brain. He's not happy about that, so I hear.

Out at Boy scout summer camp with my sons for the week, so no Armada for me until Sunday.

On the bright side, the boys are having a blast, and my 15 year old was inducted into the Order of the Arrow tonight!

Thats worth missing a few games of Armada any day.

People are monsters

Hatred begets hatred, it's a near-endless cycle and a truly evil one. It's a monstrous act born of pain made all the worse knowing that others will clamber to hold it up to further their own agendas instead of realizing it's not just a faceless news story or a historical act, but something that swept up living, breathing human beings.

People matter. I do pray for a recovery for everyone involved, physically, mentally, and emotionally as each are grievous. It may not help, but it's a vague hope that things will heal in time.

Worked 12 hours, went to Force Friday to play some armada and played... X-Wing instead?

Armada needs to hurry up with Wave 5 and my TIE Defender squadrons already.

Moving house from one end of China to the other today, and there is a typhoon heading for the city I'm going to.... but it's all good, I had McDonalds sausage and egg muffin for breakfast as my entire life is in boxes, and **** that filth tastes good.
