Curious, do you varnish your tiles or that is too much?

If you do, why and do you spray on varnish like Krylon okey to use?

People still use tiles?!?

I just prefer playing on mats for skirmish, don't play campaign enough to make it worthwhile

I heard some people have done it before but only really here or there. It'd be cool to hear if anyone here has and if so how that has turned out for them.

I sprayed my tiles because they kept chipping around the edges. Ran a black sharpie along the edges to recolor the chipped areas, then sprayed with Rustoleum 3x Gloss Spray. Worked well, and made the art really pop. Really have to be careful about overdoing it and getting drips or runs, and it seems to take days to fully cure so that things don't stick to each other, but does make the tiles more durable.

I think I would checkout professional photography places for a protective spray for photo prints. I haven't done it yet since I am more focused on painting minis than playing a lot.
