Haha, thanks! I was thinking more or less the same thing. I think the guy comes from a different community where they use the same layout quite a lot. But I do think that this layout is the most efficient and clear structured while quite fitting for the X-Wing theme. Glad to hear that others see it that way too

Thanks for the guide. It's good to see you are getting the results you have without priming. Another guide I looked at involved priming white and I was really hoping to avoid having to do that on these minis.

No worries, I'm glad you like it I almost never use a primer. I have used it so far only on the Ghost (just because it is so big) and on Minis that I stripped and painted again as I couldn't get all the details from the first coat off. But even on these I could have just used a brush with several layers and some patience Happy painting!

It's Screamer Pink from the Citadel range with a Nuln Oil coating. I thought it was a really good match for the Joker's suit
