Champion Skill question

By ByronC, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Do the skills "glory of battle" and "motivating charge" stack?

Glory of battle reads: "Each time you defeat a monster, each other hero within 3 spaces of you gains 1 valor."

Motivating charge reads: "If this attack defeats a monster, each hero within 3 spaces of you (including yourself) may either gain 1 valor or recover 1 Fatigue".

So if it it stacks, each hero could gain 2 valor or 1 valor plus 1 Fatigue. In that case I guess the heroes will run out of valor tokens quite soon.

Yes it does.

O.K. thanks for the quick reply. By the way, what happens, when the supply of valor tokens is empty? Is it bad luck then, or do the heroes have to use proxy tokens?

It says in the Lair of the Wyrm rulebook whether or not they're limited by the supply- I'm pretty sure they are.

Yes, you're right - it is mentioned, that they are limited to the supply...

Use them or lose them, then!

It encourages players not to stockpile them.

It also means he can't stack infinite damage on his 3XP skill.

Why not? If he put damage tokens, he is not using up Valor tokens, so the supply does not end.

If you can't gain a valor (because they're all out) you can't gain a damage token instead of a valor. You're right, though, there is no actual cap to the damage tokens on that card. All I meant (I guess it's not much of a restriction) is that you can't add damage to that card while you're out of valor in the supply.
