What we need is a rift in the space-time continuum - that occurs immediately following Return of the Jedi as a result of Palpatine's Death. This RIFT, causes the timeline to split into TWO universes. The Prime universe (also known as the Disney-Verse) continues as we now see, but behind the scenes there is a parallel Legends-Verse. The existence of this new Legends verse does two things - 1) It allows for Disney to make movies IN that universe if they ever get the notion someday to have the Winter Soldier to play Luke Skywalker (look it up, he's a perfect match), and it allows for force-based wormholes to occasionally exist so they can pull people into the Disney Verse at will.

ANd then we start jumping between them altering timelines and get outselves into a goddamn interdemensional civil war

So... A mining guild tie only modification that can be used only 4 times and provides some nice, targeted buff vs the ghost.
