So some of you may have noticed that every time a when-will-Imperial-Veterans-be-released thread popped up, I had to interject with my excitement for the colored bases. I still haven't picked up Imp Vets (and I think that's a long way off for me) but today I finally got my bases. Now I'm pleased to exhibit why I've been so excited for these colored bases all along.

Personally, I love how the orange and green accent the Hound's Tooth and Slave I respectively. I'm so pleased with these colors! This was the squad I took to Store Champs last season. I wish I'd had these bases back then. Now I can't wait to take these to a game night!

I have the orange ones and they look great with both my Rebels and my Scum ships and they go with my orange movement templates

I've got red for Rebels, Green for Imperials and Orange for S&V to match the firing arcs on the bases.

I do think they look a whole lot better with the clear pegs though. I intend to save the colored pegs to mark out special ships (such as Howl Runner in a TIE Swarm).

I like the clear color bases the best.
