Some YT2400/1300 lists

By BCooper85, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Hey guys,

Can you give me some thoughts on these lists? I'm currently in a local tournament where we have all chosen a pilot to fly; we must always use that pilot and no one else can so I'm trying to think outside the box a little with my pick, Dash.

'Dash in, Han out'

YT-2400: · Dash Rendar (36)

Intimidation (2)

"Mangler" Cannon (4)

Anti Pursuit Laser (2)

· Outrider (5) YT-1300:

YT-1300: · Han Solo (46)

Gunner (5)

The idea for this is that Dash is the annoying blocker, hopefully getting in the thick of things and causing damage with APL and his mangler whilst reducing agility for Han who will skirt around the edge.

'Dash out, Chewie in'

YT-2400: · Dash Rendar (36)

Push The Limit (3)

Heavy Laser Cannon (7)

· Kyle Katarn (3)

· Outrider (5)

YT-1300: · Chewbacca (42)

Tactical Jammer (1)

· C-3PO (3)

The idea for this is that Dash will do his usual super stuff with Chewie inside protecting the doughnut hole and hopefully obstructing attacks at Dash.

If these are ridiculous ideas then don't hold back, I've tried working it out myself for a change instead of asking for list ideas.

Dash's PS is a bit high to make a really good blocker. If you fancy trying a double YT list then I quite like Chewbo.

48 Chewbacca (42), C-3PO (3), Millenium Falcon (1), Lone Wolf (2)

51 Leebo (35), Determination (1), HLC (7), Outrider (5), Recon Specialist (3)

99 Total

Both ships are PS5 which means you can move and shoot in whichever order works best on a given turn. Chewie ignores Crits and Leebo can abuse the combination of his pilot ability and Determination to discard over 40% of crits without suffering any damage at all. C-3PO makes the Falcon even tankier while Rec Spec is a solid choice on the Outrider. For the extra point you can add in anything cheap you like since an init bid is not very important at PS5. Maybe Nien Numb on the Falcon for extra greens or upgrade Lone Wolf to Predator.

OK, just re-read the OP and you need to use Dash specifically, sorry about that.

How about Ghost-Dash? Doesn't make use of the Falcon but gives you two very potent but different ships.

58 Dash Rendar (36), Outrider (5), HLC (7), PTL (3), Kanan (3), EU (4)

42 Lothal Rebel (35), FCS (2), ABT (2), Hera (1), Han (2)

The Lothal Rebel hits like a ton of bricks and doesn't really care about stress. I normally charge it straight at the opponent to keep those big primary guns on target. If any slippery aces get too close or try to target the flanks or rear, auto-blaster turret creates a serious deterrent to anyone trying to get too close.

Dash does his thing and skirts round the edge of the engagement taking double actions and hosing baddies off the Ghost's back if necessary. I have run this a couple of times and it works very well.
