Shuttle Tydirium Episode 10: Artficial Intelligence in HotAC

Wanted to know more about the Artificial Intelligence used by HotAC? Think it's got to be terrible? Check out the latest episode to find out!

One note for the episode: the b-team list includes a hwk290 with TLT and tactician that I say can double stress enemies. This episode was recorded before the recent FAQ that breaks that combo.

One thing though. When you talked about the IA doing red maneuvers you got it a little wrong. The AI ships don't recieve a stress when doing red maneuvers. They just skip their action. They can get stressed though. By flying over a debris field for example. Then they would use their action to clear stress.

Awesome that we got you into it! I'd love to hear what you think about it. It's cool to talk about something, and then find out if someone who tried it because of you gets to tell you how it went for them. It makes it all worth it.

Right....even after a few games, some of us are a little fuzzy. I just skip their action each time. They only get a stress if you give them one via special ability or crit.

Yes, but how much is shipping? I hear a lot from people in Europe that they can buy it....but shipping is crazy expensive.

Or....are you saying that you can buy it in local stores? If so, awesome! Also....so cool to have someone from Slovakia listening! The closest I got to Slovakia was Prague. I'll cheers you next time I drink a Staropramen. I know it's not Slovakian, but it's the closest I can get here.

Local, mainly fishing supply stores. Stanley seems to be the brand of choice for hardware stores in the EU.

BTW: Staropramen's what I'd drink here anyway ;-) Czech people make some great beers.
