Contested outpost: My goal was to park all of my b wings on or near the station, and have him come to me.
Turn 1: Everything rushed towards the station
Turn 2: Demolisher got off a lucky shot and killed Jainas light in one turn, however he parked his demo in the middle of all of my bwings to do that. They made short work of it and took it down

Turn 3: I presented a tough choice keeping my cr90, my mc80 and all of my squadrons in his ISD’s front arc. Then the b wings and defiance gave 13 damage in one activation. A YT finished it off in the squadron phase.

Turn 4-6 I started chasing his lone raider, and our squadrons faced off. He won the squadron battle, but he couldn’t hit my mc80 the whole game because of it. My MC80 remained parked almost on the station for all of the rest of the game.

Deployment:

Contested outpost: My goal was still to park all of my b wings on or near the station, and have him come to me. But also to take those mc30s out as fast as possible
Turn 1: his 3 mc30s rushed my mc80 at speed 3, I put it at an angle trying to keep it out of black range of all 3
Turn 2: the 3 mc30’s parked in front of me. I was in front black range only of one, the second was blue only, and the third only had an obstructed blue side shot. I killed the middle one with the B wings, then took a huge bite out of the one on the right. Putting 2 damage cards on it. He had no choice but to ram me, and I started taking damage cards.
On the other side of the board, my 4 yt2600’s started actively hunting the other mc30 concentrating fire on one side
Turn 3: my MC80 went down, but only after finishing off one of the remaining mc30s, and putting a hurt on the last one ( it had 2 hull left until the end of the game). My yt’s finished off the other mc30 with the help of one of the corvettes and the last corvette started hunting the station to get the points under the protection of the b wings.
Turn 4-6. My corvette stayed on the station to finish getting the station points, my yt’s and last corvette hunted his flagship chasing it off the board and finishing it off with a very lucky black die. His last mc30 escaped hurt but not dead.
Result – My victory 8-2
At this point I was in second for points behind my final opponent

List – at this point I was really beat having driven 3 hours to get to the tournament, and then playing 2 other games so I don’t remember the list and I had forgotten to take a pic of it, but essentially it was:
ISD 2 – Ozel – various upgrades
Demo glad
Rhymer, 2 firesprays, regular jumpmaster, regular yv, vader, soontir, IG88 and I think one other squad
Deployment. I started facong the left side, and he pointed straight at me.
Superior positions
Turn one, I started flying straight toward the side hoping to fly around and flank him. Adter watching my opponent kill his first two opponents with 10-0 victories, I knew his fighter ball wasn’t to be messed with trivially. I moved my YT’s out front to try and engage his fighters without getting locked down.
Turn 2: started the fighter burning.
Turn 3, his demolisher did a tricky switch back putting it in range of my front corvette. I got a shot off at it, but it killed that corvette without much effort.
Turn 4: More squadron fighting, my other corvette not having many choices fires at the demolisher and comes up with a lot of blanks. and the mc80 takes a solid chunk out of it taking most of his shields.
Turn 5: demolisher kills off the other corvette. My opponent expertly keeps it on the board and then engine techs it to keep it from hitting the mc80. The mc80 fires a point blank broadside but only does 2 damage (worst roll ever lol)
Turn 6 he finishes off the last of my squadrons and goes after my mc80 for the superior positions points. I kept my flag aship alive, but that was all I had left on the board.
Result My loss 9-1
Overall I lost so bad that last game that I ended in fourth, but I really had fun and it was worth the travel time to meet new people!
