Sith Lord question (spoilers)

By Lazyshisno, in X-Wing Off-Topic

So Maul.. Formerly Darth Maul, am i correct in canon that he is the only living "Sith" Lord (Former or active) with his appearance in Rebels ?

Any possibility that he is a dehorned Snoke ?

I am hoping for a Pilot card (or crew card).

Darth Vader was in rebels too.

Darth Vader was in rebels too.

True, but Darth Vader is dead (to the best of my knowledge) where Maul has never officially died..

He is not Snoke, Snoke is a chracter previously unknown. He also no longer is a Sith, if still a follower of the dark side. Wether or not he is alive in the TFA timeframe remains to be seen, although I think it is unlikely. Rebels is likely to finaly give him a proper ending.

I would be happy to see that...

But he is the last lingering official Sith Lord (former) that exists yes ?

Is there a character in a graphic novel or obscure book that could still exist in the TFA timeframe besides Maul ?

He is. Plagueis was killed by Palpatine, Dooku by Anakin, then Vader and Sidious took care of themselves. Plagueis had killed his master Tenebrous before, as did all Sith in the final Bane line of the order. Vader and Sidious were the end of the Sith order.

Maul is in a weird spot, as he should have been dead long ago following the orders rules, which is why I don't expect him to survive Rebels.

A lot of the information in this post is legends and might change, but so far there is little indication that it will.

The Phantom Menace

10 years later: Attack of the Clones

3 years later: Revenge of the Sith

15 years later: Rebels season 1

4 years later: A New Hope

2 years later: The Empire Strikes Back

1 year later: Return of the Jedi

30 Years later: The Force Awakens

There is a Canon timeline somewhere but I'm too lazy to looking.

I think Maul would have been sorted out in TCW before that ended. So I expect Maul will finally meet his end before Rebels ends.

Snoke is Snoke. Not Maul not anyone else we've met before.

So Snoke is not Revan then?

Darth Sion?

I swear, if I ever meet one of the Snoke speculators in real life I am going to strangle them! :P

I'm sticking with Snoke is Chopper until proven otherwise. :P

What was confusing about that? Statement of relatively well known facts, then some educated speculation.

I think I maybe cleared it up. wasn't hard to understand the first time though.

OK, so not Sion then.

Nothing, just... everything from Rebels to new canon makes me hurl. Like, worse than Abbadon or Blood Angels and Newcrons brofist.

Darth Sion being brought up just made me cry, because Chris Avelone has done a better job than Disney likely will for a while.

Ah, I see, you are one of those guys.

Pfft! If Snoke was half the homicidal maniac Chopper is, there wouldn't be a Resistance.

The sith order died over endor. Maul is a deranged lunatic who is not "all there" as it were.

Mentally and physically...

Disney doesn't write star wars or input in the creative process. That's Lucasfilm. Lucasfilm makes star wars.

Somehow I missed the story of Darth Maul surviving. I am worse off having caught up on that story.

Those episodes of the clone wars were real good though

Guessi will add that tp the list of shows to see when i have free time

That we know of, but there are of course hidden temples and stuff lying around to seduce people and who knows, maybe Vader or Palpatine had an apprentice hidden away on standby.
