IMHO the main use for the AF2 is as the (currently) only source of Advanced Projectors

If using haven, though, you really don't need dedicated anti squadron. Between it and Jan, you're basically set to win every squadron engagement ever

Problem is your most well rounded squadron is the slowass B and there's nowhere to put coordination teams

There's always the A, and counter under GH is just hilarious, but feels wrong to corral speed 5 fighters like that

I put together a nice AF2-A build using two of them. After looking at it the past few days, I am just having a hard time justifying the extra 18 points it takes just to have the same shot out of all four arcs. It sure looks cool though! **evil grin**

Its Steve. Two AFs is actually a nice very mobile platform of ships. They go pretty easily anywhere. However, you may find that with another bulky ship in the fray you might start to have a hard time. So, you're probably good and set.

I have 3 AFs though. And I'm just dying to use all 3. And 3 of them DO NOT maneuver well on the table. So adding 27 points of Spinal Tap to make any arc a really bad choice is great.

Wondering if gunnery team is worth it... hmm.
