Would I be right in thinking that if cluster missiles do three or more damage over both the attacks that reinforced deflectors will trigger?

And that if both attacks do the full 3 each that the RD will still only trigger once?

Yes, with the new timing chart, after defending happens once after resolving both attacks. So if you suffer 3 or more damage/critical damage, you recover 1 shield.

Reinforced Deflectors will only trigger after the second attack per the new attack timing chart in the 4.2.1 FAQ. So I think only the last attack counts for damage that triggers it.

Yes, unless I'm misunderstanding, the change means that it doesn't trigger until after both attacks resolve and it only happens once, even if both attacks deal 3 damage.

The total damage from either or both attacks cab trigger it, but it doesn't resolve the shield until after both. Interesting result of the update that I hadn't considered.

Means that if you take 3 damage from the first and none from the second, you get the shield token, but not until after the second attack fully resolves. Also, previously, you could yield a shield token from the first attack, meaning that shield could save you from the second attackbecause you could have an additional HP. No longer.
