OK "everybody" could be hyperbole but I've seen the term DMC in a few recent threads.

Anyone run into the Drea/Manaroo/CS combo elsewhere.

I don't know about the combo, but it's my understanding PtL and "Gonk" on Manaroo don't work, at least on the same turn. If you want to do both actions in 1 turn you need to drop EU and add Exp Interface

Gonk and PTL allows you to store or regen and still do your job, which is support with a TL or focus. Manaroo in this configuration is a support ship and should be flown like it. Personally, I think EI would be a terrible choice here, Gonk /= R2D2.

Manaroo is able to hand target locks to drea if she is out of range to attain from her ability. What makes it pop is that she can; spend to fire; spend to re-roll, spend to make opponent re roll and at that point switch if possible. Her and manaroo also out ps scouts and should get a crit through to strip deadeye with boba prior to shooting. 4-lom also helps handle aces along with drea.

While I understand the points are at issue, the thought of not giving Drea a TLT makes me feel all sad inside. ;)

Drea Really does not want to be bubbled. I usually run ion to help set up torps.

Very true of course. Neither is wrong, and both have great benefits. With manaroo in the list, I think the need to move TL is less necessary. But when I started using this I ran into a lot of palpaces and carnor especially. So that's why I put in AB turret.

I understand you can store tokens and use PtL per usual. If your reasoning she is support for TLs and focus I guess I would argue spending 4 points for engines to boost, and 3 points for Gonk, then 3 more points for PtL is a lot of points to do things that aren't supporting anyone. I think the later post by Timathius, not bothering with EU EI Gonk or PtL would work just as well

Against other Scout lists when you have Boba crew, you should discard the torpedo card itself. Rules as written (RaW) it works. The player using Boba crew to discard the card is the one discarding it, not the person who controls the ship. Extra Munitions tokens can be spent in lieu of the card itself if /you/ are instructed to discard the card. The player with Boba is discarding it, not the player with EM.

If you lose this argument at the FLGS, of course go for Deadeye then.

Also that's a ******* nasty squad. I haven't played U-Boats in a while, but I was thinking 2 and a party bus. I might try this out instead.

They actually covered that in the new FAQ. EM tokens can be spent so you have to go for deadeye.

You can but not with PTL. only works with EI as PTL states it has to be an action from your action bar. Still very good to use PTL in order to take your normal action as well. Always be GONKing :D *Smash them beetles*

Why? She's always been more of an ordnance carrier. Or is it just any Y-wing should have a TLT?
