The Countess is a beast, really hard to pin down since she can do green K-turns and banks. Vessery does the really accurate TB shots to help the other two. OL does his thing, also not being the primary threat helps his survivability early in the game.

I like this list. The other variation I can think of is dropping Mk2 Engines on Vess and downgrading VI to Adaptability in order to replace the tractor beam with an ion cannon. OL will usually be keeping his target lock anyway so shooting at PS7 instead of 8 is not such a big deal and the extra damage and control afforded by the Ion cannon can be very useful.
