One of these days I want to a play a 1,000 point all-day uberEpic battle. I will field both of my Raiders for that day.

This was my exact thought, though admittedly I cared more for comedic value than being of assistance in my first post. People seem willing to pay quite a lot for a piece of paper because...I dunno...they're upset about it being in a big ship for ~$100? Whatevs. Buy my duplicates while I plow my twin Raiders though the masses of smaller ships in a 1k match

The Lambda is a gorgeous thing for repaints and comes laden with useful goodies, upgrade wise it's probably one of the best when it comes to bang for your buck. HLC's, Sensor Jammers, Rebel Captives, Advanced Sensors, all upgrades that are rather in short supply.

I actually flew four space cows. It worked surprisingly well - having four of them actually makes up for their bad maneuverability. Two from one side, two from the other. Their three dice are respectable when they actually get to shoot, and they're huge with 40 points of hull and shields. They'll obviously all need Engine Upgrade, making each perfectly round 25 points.

All of my X-Wing cards were stolen something around two or three years ago, and it took a while to collect all the cards I wanted again. For some, I had to resort to the bay of E, and for the space cows, I actually did buy a fifth (the one you see), and a sixth that I merely stripped for cards and then sold again at a very much reduced price... I really wanted four Omicron pilot cards again (and yes, the two I re-bought were also source for getting back some of the other relatively rare upgrade cards in there).

The same reason applies to some of the other numbers. Like the 15 TIE Fighters. I never flew more than 8 at once.

I did fly a casual tournament with two astral bovines once, and it was much, much worse. They really need to be four to be at least somewhat viable. But the cow herd is a surprisingly fun squadron to fly

Wait, the new ones, do? In all the relatively recent source material (like the stuff used for Battlefront) the wings don't go down as far as they appear to be in Return of the Jedi, so I thought FFG's hands were tied. I just used a small pair of wire cutters to trim the gap for the wing pylons on the bottom of the ship deeper so the wings had room to fold. Worked like a charm.

Gotta admit, seeing two Raiders yet not quad IG-88s makes me a little sad inside.

Obviously the solution is to celebrate ships #101 and #102...

Getting very close to my 1st goal of having at least enough of everything to make any 100 point list of anything you can think of.

What makes me sad inside is that I still have yet to field the Frigate, Raider or Gozanti's.

Now I'm depressed I just counted mine and came too 107 different pieces of plastic and had plans to buy 3 more maybe 4. Good god I have spent way too much money on this game. Storing the ships in hardware drawers made it too easy to not see the big picture. It is too late for me but save yourselves my brothers and sisters!
