We opened a couple packs of colored bases yesterday and had a couple that were a touch off.
One large red base for sure, one of the smaller colors, too. Most were right.
We were wondering if we just had a bad pack or two, or if there was a larger issue. Can someone(s) with some large red bases especially, check?

This is because you bought the red base! The red base has been enlarged slightly so you can move faster on the board. /joke

We're still trying to figure it out. They definitely fit the new small ships, but also a lot of the old small ships. Large ships are a bit more nuanced.
