So here is a list I came up with awhile back when the JM5K first dropped. I have been flying it quite a bit when I'm not flying Imps and so far I am really liking it.

So the idea was this. Two Aces at PS 9 with a heavy bid, neither of which you really want to shoot at. Shoot at Xizor and watch as the damage gets passed on to a regen ship, or shoot Dengar and get shot at either by a plucky droid with a 9mm, or by the man hisself.

Seems like with the recent FAQ to Gonk, you might want to put Experimental Interface on Dengar instead of Hull Upgrade.

Yeah, I'm loving that new FAQ.

Double Gonk is great, but stress is not. Dengar doesn't need that much protection and the extra hard health really can save your bacon.

Ive been running a dengar xizor list as well, but i went straight up super dengar and just dont let them shoot me in the first place instead of trying to line up revenge shots

I took second in a local tournament with mine. I went xizor strictly for the PS, I don't use his ability in my list. He's not a great arc-dodger without PTL, but he's still able to do it some. My list also has a 3 point initiative bid, so I get to give away initiative to most lists that have PS9 pilots in them. I faced 2 phantom (whisper) lists in said tournament, gave them initiative, and I'm not sure they ever actually got to shoot to trigger ACD. I had another game (not in the tournament) against a RAC/Soontir list where RAC and dengar died the same round, leaving soontir vs xizor. Guri would have absolutely lost that game, while xizor was able to move after soontir and killed him in the end.

That being said, xizor's definitely the weak point in the list. Scum just doesn't have a good small-ship ace to fly alongside dengar. I have a couple other versions put together I need to try using a party bus or regen tel, but haven't tested em yet. At this point I'm just waiting for wave 9 to run Fenn Rau...

Guri doesn't have the synergy that Xizor does. Same PS for maneuvering is huge as well as being able to soak shots onto Dengar when needed. Guri is better in most cases but not here.

but right now what paried ed to Dengar? 1) manaroo and Dengar with combos beyond the stress of Dengar with Zuckuss not like because once dead manaroo the game is lost! 2) Dengar and tel with veteran instint can be interesting but after launching his missiles do not seem more incisive 3) with Xizor I always enjoyed even if it is out of meta and perhaps cloacking device can help

Another idea! Ig-88 B with veteran instint, AT, mangler e fcs. Now most of ace have ps 8 (omega leader, inquisitor, jax, vessery + VI ...) and conceding the initiative you are ok with enemy's movement

And boba + VI + EU + 4-lom? He doesn't need somethings to be incisive

Assuming the dial is what we expect it is (ie vaguely like an intercepter, a-wing R even TAP), Feb Rau will likely take Xizor's place in such a list with gusto (and even points left over for something funky like torpedoes or the like).

And if such lists done promptly get called Fenngar, I shall bitterly be disappointed.
