SOooo I posted a FUN video made by Mini wargamers who are respected in the Miniatures Gaming Community and have been for years. I intro the video by saying that the guys are being dumb and make mistakes but the arE HAVING FUN.
has anyone watched ths? So far I am seeing evaluations of my choice in verbiage, and two know Joe Haters came on and tried to poo poo my topic, then their CULT LEADER came on and tried to put a bullet point on his minions attacks. Then some points are cast saying that JOE IS A TROLL... meanwhile the entire forum main page is boiling with FAQ SPAM Hate.
Otay... you are still losing and I am always winning because MY LOVE IS STRONGER THAN YOUR HATE.
Maybe if you typed in actual English instead of some pre-school approximation of 90s teen-speak you might be more effective getting your message across? Seriously, it feels like I only understand about half of the topics you post because you have this pathological aversion to explaining yourself clearly. Also consider that there's a significant number of forum users for whom English is not their first language and maybe you might understand people's reactions.
There probably is a very interesting discussion to be had about the subject you're talking about here but I, like many others apparently, really can't be bothered to try to decipher what that topic is so I'm much more inclined to put my energies into threads that can at least manage the bare minimum of effectively communicating what they're talking about.
Remember when the forums weren't flooded by the worthless topics, comments, and emojis of a gibberish speaking troll and glorified unboxer?

We I first started reading these boards, JBR7s diction used to drive me nuts. Then I realized that what he was saying was usually spot on with my thoughts. Now, I simply consider it his "on-stage personality". Rock it, Joe
Truth be told, it still drives me nuts.
On the other hand, the perspective he presents is that it's okay to come to X-wing just because you love Star Wars, and to play without caring at all about the 100-point deathmatch game or the most current tournament meta. It's not my perspective, but I think it's an important one for the game, and I'm glad it's represented.
