Villains of the First Order

By JeffJedi, in X-Wing

My idea for a new expansion. It could contains two ships a white Tie/fo with Black Panels and a Black Tie/ln with White pannels.

It's minions. Minions of the First Order.

Champions of the First Order!

To be fair, not my idea. Saw it on the forums, and loved it.

valiant pilots of the first order fight the terrorist scum......

No, you got it wrong. (FO are the terrorists now)

Freedom Fighters of the First Order fight the corrupt, decadent and oppressive Galactic Republic, and their Resistance fundamentalists.

I also want to see him bring down the falcon in the second film by sheer force power. Like in Force Unleashed with the Star Destroyer except he holds a Falcon that is attempting to make the jump to hyper space.

I now have an image of Kylo Ren standing on the bridge of his Star Destroyer with his hand dramatically reaching out. Then the Falcon jumps to light-speed and Kylo shoots forward and gets pancaked against the view-port. :D

Colonel Sandurz: Prepare ship for light speed.

Dark Helmet: No, no, no, light speed is too slow.

Colonel Sandurz: Light speed, too slow?

Dark Helmet: Yes, we're gonna have to go right to ludicrous speed.

Don't know why this went through my head when i read that... :D

I'm all set on Tie Fighter models for a while...

Something a little more interesting would be nice for some change.

sadly, those don't exist in the first order apart from the mickey mouse shuttle

doubly sadly, FO fighters didn't turn out to be these guys :(

Well they could still use something like that as Kylo Ren's personal fighter. You knjow a Vader wannabe is going to insist on having his own unique TIE.

Quite an interesting point for discussion. Should Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma be Pilot and/or Crew?

I think Phasma would just be crew as she is basically a ground commander. But Kylo? Yeah, he has the shuttle, but isn't he flying it himself? He's son of Han Solo after all. Trained by Luke Skywalker, both exceptional pilots. Not to mention SOME portion of very rich blood Anakin Skywalker had in his veins... I think he has a great piloting potential.

Depends on what information FFG has about the characters. If they get a heads up from Disney/Lucasfilm that Kylo pilots the Upsilon hismelf, go ahead and pull the trigger on making a pilot card. If he also pilots a fighter in Episode 8 or 9, we've already got Maarek Stele to show that the same character as a pilot for two different ships is fine. If they spoil that Phasma will get, say, a custom TIE/sf in Ep 8, better yet. A "Champions of the First Order" expansion has just made itself at that point. On the other hand, if that's not what's going to happen in the movies (or even if Lucasfilm just isn't willing to say) and Kylo let somebody else pilot the shuttle, then make them crew cards only. They can always be given pilot cards later if then end up flying something.

Captain Phasma: "You may discard all of your shield tokens to acquire a target lock on a ship in the play area OR you may gain 3 shield tokens and flip this card facedown."

Kylo Ren:" you may flip this card facedown and place 2 counters on it in order to negate an opponents attack (once per round). During the end phase, remove one counter. when both counters have been removed, you may flip Kylo Ren face up."

Everyone always seems to focus on Kylo Ren's tantrums. Why not have him ignore crits?

As said above the first order is not in power their destruction of the republic system was an act of terror, unlike blowing up alderan which was the legitimate act of the reigning government.
