I always debate the value of Intel on a corvette. Feels like if I've got 3-4 damage coming in and an Intel on the brace I'll just take it I think those points could make your mc80 much more effective.

Also bomber command seems overkill with only 4 xwings in the list. Torun Farr would be better imo.

I'd have to agree with Beefcake on bomber command center. That's a deceptively expensive upgrade that looks cooler on paper than its actual cost/benefit analysis. If your opponent brings any kind of fighters of his own, you'll get zero benefit out of the upgrade.

I also don't think you've got any ships that benefit so extensively from first player that you really need a 12 point build. In fact, for the way the list is set up, you could easily just spend out to 400 points. Then just acquire enough familiarity with the list that you're comfortable going first or second. 12 points is a lot of utility to leave on the board.

Advanced Gunnery is presumably taken for your Liberty, except it gets negated by gunnery teams. With Corvettes, Most Wanted is your objective of choice.

I'm also curious if eventually the Corvette will prove to be the best ship for Madine. Its already highly maneuverable and can usually get its shots.

Intel Officer wasn't in my first build, I removed Jan Ors and an upgrade, to put them in. So I am in two minds about them.

I think we'll have to see how people build with Demolisher post wave 3 and 4. The real fear in wave 2 was the first player with activation advantage. If it isn't doing the last/first trick with activation advantage, it is manageable. There are ways to mitigate its effectiveness. I'd say one of the aspects to consider on bid is that you really want to bid with respect to whether you need first player or not, and then only as much as will reliably get it. With DeMSU's influening the meta, bids were either in the 370s or they stayed pretty close to 400. I think the bidding will open back up again, because 370 is really a lot of points to leave on the table and we'll have new anti-Demolisher tools all the way around. I'd expect to see 385-390 to be the range where you really bid because you've got a build that absolutely must go first.

Two ways to counter demolisher include havinga transport that you can block him with or just having more activations. Both goals can potentially be achieved for 18 points. You have a 12 point bid that Might help you in that exclusive scenario, I'd invest 18 And get far more rounded benefits.

Also Torryn isn't about the bombing. You aren't doing any bombing with this list. Torryn will help your xwings kill the enemy and also benefit your corvettes blue dice AS because I'd expect you'll need it to help you're xwings survive.

2 thoughts:

1) I think Liberty only activates when you spend a Squadron token not a squadron dial so it is pretty useless without Raymus or some other way to feed the liberty squadron token's

2) Liberty also does not pair well with Madine as he needs a navigate token or dial to activate.
