Played and won three out of three. Only ever lost the bomber, but he's not meant to stick around long anyway. He granted his TLs and in one game in particular ruined everyone's stuff. He managed to block or dodge almost the entire squad and survive two rounds of firing, denying actions and stressing out 4 ships. Well, it would have been 4 but one didn't live long enough to be stressed. TOT went perfectly, and the Defenders closed in on either side just at the moment that none of the TIEs or /fos could k-turn. It was a glorious slaughter.

But good god that /x7 title is monstrous. Never lost more than shields, and half the time I did lose them it was on purpose so I could keep my evade for Juke. But Defenders finally feel like Defenders. There are a bunch of other squads I can't wait to try but so far I am thoroughly in love with the new content.

Oh and whoever out there says Ryad is no good against higher PS can suck it because she absolutely is. You just gotta git gud.

I think Ryad is awesome, can be a blocker or has nasty tricks against lower skill pilots. I think she is great.

Actually, in almost every match she excelled against the higher skill pilots, up to and including Omega Leader, Mauler Mithel, Wes Janson, Luke Skywalker, and Zeta Leader because she could pick her k-turn spot with impunity. Most of her rounds in the game she'd have a target lock, focus token, and evade token going into the combat phase, and would come out the other side with some of them still there simply because people couldn't help but overshoot her. So far she's proving to be one of the best low-PS arc dodgers in the game, yet somehow doesn't fly like an arc dodger at all. I knew her ability would be potent, but I never dreamed it would be this good.
