Or, just as likely, this will be the start of a new, Fresh set of Tokens... So even if they do the 4 command token set over the year - they may be different to the ones that are already out there...

Alright-alright-so... per kit we have 17 of Card A, 3 of Card B, and 2 of Acrylic A? That's all?

If that is the case, I'm not exactly pleased as I can generally guarantee that I'm not going to be raking in any copies of Card B or Acrylic dealy A. We have several very strong competitors who consistently place at that end of the spectrum. I don't want to sound like I'm irritated at them (they're great people and a blast to play against. It's why I've finally gotten into tournament play after 20 years of abstaining from that side of gaming), I'm just a little bummed out as I'm not top tier player material and certain aspects of it actively leaves a bad taste in my mouth. So hearing that we're getting more cool stuff but dangling it out of reach just feels ...

... yeah

How are the more populous X-wing players taking it, I wonder. Maybe store champ stuff will be less restrictive. I ain't mad, just a little resigned to my fate.

I would agree on that, too. Also, why weird numbers? It looks like they're going to have two of the top-rank item, three of the currently "top two" items, and seventeen of the items they currently include sixteen of. Are they including an extra at each tier for the TO, or are they switching to a weird distribution system now?

One thing that might be worth considering is often times stores may order more than one of these kits in response to their player base, so the prizes aren't as exclusive as they seem. And the two of and three of might be so the TO can get something out of holding a tournament.
