With the change to deadeye / R4 aggromech combo, I expect to see a lot less two/three Contracted Scouts builds. And with those gone, this appears to open the door back up to Y-wings and B-Wings.

And with Ace wing being the other dominant build, should we expect a return of the dreaded stressbot y-wing (BTL-A4 / R3-A2 combo) to counter all the aces out there?

Unfortunately, Vessery is the Stresshog's archenemy, and he just got a new lease on life. For that matter, The Inquisitor is tough enough to survive long enough to clear the stress if Palpatine is still alive.

Maybe, but the things that got eaten up by the old U-Boat list will still get eaten up by the surviving U-Boat lists, TIE/d Defenders, and any sort of alpha strike list that shows up to fill the void.

Well I guess the nerf was old but it got an extra layer on the last nerf with the clarification of all double attack weapons. You are right that this isn't anything new to stresshogs with the latest R3-A2 ruling, it just brings other upgrades like Tactician and Vader<crew> down to the same level.

R3-A2 was never dishing out 2 stress with a TLT "attack" as far as I recall. With BTL-A4 it could, in arc. If Some people were interpreting it so that it dished out 3 stress (really early on?), they were doing it wrong. Is this what you are on about? As I am confused.

Stressbot is not coming again; FFG saw to it with imperial veterans : x7 defenders don't give a **** about the stressbot.
