FFG OP just tweeted the new FAQ is in effect ( https://mobile.twitter.com/FFGOP/status/748929959389978624) so a lot of players are now desperately changing lists.

Well, that's kind of crappy to do it on that short a notice. Especially for the scope of the changes in this FAQ. I don't imagine that most players or TOs will be fully up to speed on what the ramifications of some of these changes are.

Pretty furious about this one. I'm playing at the Regionals in Norwich,UK tomorrow and its not going to be an easy day for the TO's who now all need to be fully up to scratch on the new FAQ which is released less than 24 Hours before the event begins. Stupid mistakes will be made, possibilities for bad rulings exist and a large number of players are going to have to ditch the lists they've been practising for months. This is a really really bad move from FFG Organised Play.

The fact that a large number of players will play their first game using the new combat sequence at a tournament is fairly significant.

Can even TO ignore newest FAQ and put it in vacatio legis in situations as mentioned above?

The regionals that asked the lists by advanced (Norwich and Barcelona for instance) may be as interesting as chaotic. I kinda regret not being able to attend the latter to witness the meltdown this will cause, no matter if the FAQ is or is not finally applied.

I assume they intented to release the FAQ last monday (thus that June 27th) and for some reason it was delayed, but holy cow. FFG, next time wait until next monday to release it, not on friday

EDIT: It will be applied at Barcelona, and they are letting people to change their lists tonight.
