Hey all,

I am just looking to get into X-Wing, I have been playing mini games for years and just found a group that plays! So yay for that, but I was wondering i anyone could give my any advice on building a list before I purchase random ships? I did some reading that may be out of date, but saw some TIE Swarm lists that looked cool, The B-wings look awesome, Decimator, The Falcon, Boba Fett, it all looks cool haha Anyways any advice would be awesome, thanks guys!

What do you have so far? If you are looking to build compeititve list, then you'll end up buying pretty much one of every ship lol. It's all about the upgrade cards that come with the expansions. You may want to run imperial ships, but have to buy scum Starviper to get those Autothrusters Upgrade Cards. If you are playing just for fun, buy the ships you like.

For now this might be a start. If you do enjoy the game go and find both the red and blue starter boxes. They will offer you 2 sets of dice and ships of the old and new movies for starters. Barring this buy what you can and then start to see what faction you enjoy most and go from there. Also welcome to our fine world and i hope you enjoy your stay here
