Heroes of the Resistance is Most Wanted. Why would an 'aces pack' fix two ships that need the least fixing?

yeah, heroes really isn't Vets

Vets is the next expansion in the two small ship line (ie rebel and imperial aces), which (if FFG knows even remotely anything about what they're doing) will be the E-wing and T-65

Heroes might fix the T-70 a little (probably not enough for anyone outside Poe, unless the named pilots prove to be flipping amazing; fingers crossed)

the yt-1300 we really don't need to see any of, but odds are you can just nuke it with ordnance or stone wall it with palp aces regardless

The day after Imperial Aces dropped, Rebel Aces was announced, so there are folks who are expecting a Rebel Veterans set to follow suit.

And it very well might, but with HotR on the horizon, I'm skeptical.

I don't know why everyone has this idea that FFG has to release something with the same name immediately for Rebels when they release something for Imperials that is an outside of a wave pack. Yes, it happened with Aces, but with Heroes of the Resistance in the works, I find it really hard to believe they will release Rebel Veterans anytime soon. It would be really sad if scum isn't touched on next.

Also, I don't expect any announcements unless it is an epic. Wave 9 and Heroes of the Resistance gives us plenty of material to cover for the next couple months.

I absolutely expect to see something announced for scum before a rebel vets. As people have already said, imps got vets, rebels are getting heroes. Ddoubt rebels will get multiple extra packs before scum gets anything.

And while scum are winning tournamwnts, itd be nice tochave some amall ships that are actually playable...

several scum players in my area have stopped running scum because theyre tired of running the same thing every time. What scum have that works is nasty, but they dont have any "less optimal but still fun" lists. Dengar, Guri, Scouts, and Brobots is literally all they have that doesnt feel like they are putting a huge handicap on themselves. Everything they have that isnt filler Z's or the before mentioned ships sucks ASS hard. Its not that they dont have any competitive lists at all its that they got nothing BUT those lists - not everyone likes to utterly crush their opponents with meta lists.

Thats nit entirely the fault of the ships. Thats just a lack of imagination. Ive run a ton of "less optimal but still fun" scum lists without dengar, guri, brobots or uboats. The vast majority of tournaments ive gone to have been eith scum, and never with a meta List. Never flown brobots (in a standard tournament), never flown uboats, never flown quad Tlt. And yet ive placed at least second at a lot of tournaments and never below top 4. I won a store championship with a slaver, 2 tlt ywings and a z95. My last tournament was dengar (guilty. But super dengar, not torpedoes or dengaroo) with xizor. My latest list Ive been flying is a slaver party bus, another slaver with boba/greedo/outlaw tech and a bumpmaster (a scout, but again, not a uboat). Another list ive been flying lately and doing pretty well with and enjoying (almost took it to the last tournament) is a 5 scyk crack swarm. Ive done well with a list using 3 g1as and torkil. Ive flown plenty og games with various xizor builds. Even 5 kihraxz can be pretty effective

well, those scum ships are the two smallest large ships out there while the ghost is THE largest

so the physical pressence is pretty unequal
