So who here still loves The Black Sun ?

What would you like to see for this faction in the future?

Hoping FFG do a Black Sun Kihraxz if there's a Scum Aces pack, as not really happy with my repaint

A Black Sun scheme HWK would be nice, too, with some new pilots - was interesting to see how well they did in some of the recent tourny's, and maybe it would be possible to buff the Kihraxz and/or M3-A indirectly with some clever HWK pilot/crew synergies perhaps using extensions to Mindlink for token distribution ???

...only thing I'm hoping they DON'T do, is any kind of freighter that uses the Xizor Transport Systems containers - much as I love freighters, I think some of the containers shapes are kinda odd - I have one freighter with the Class A ones, but am a bit tempted to replace them with more conventional rectangular ones

FFG dropped the ball IMO by only includeing one generic Vigo... that was my main gripe from day one back in the day. The Vipers need more options too.

Why, yes of course!

Guri plus two Black Sun soldiers in Z95´s and then either a syndicate thug in a Y-wing or add one of the pilots in the G-1A.

The only thing I wonder about is how to give them all cloaking device and stygium particle accelerators, just because I can (not the Y-wing of course, that one is dressed up to be an A-wing: TLT, Unhinged Astromech, BTL-A4 title, engine upgrade; suddenly your Y-wing is a fast flying flanker!)

Looking forward to seeing Xizor and Guri crew in a Scum Epic ship for Black Sun.

I love the Viper as the guys I play against in my league could attest. In the last game night, I flew Xizor, Guri, and 2 Black Sun Z's. (Went 1-1). But I'm not holding my breath on fixes for the Viper. Knowing how FFG operates, even after they announce a Viper fix (which has not happened to date). It will be a minimum of 6 months from that time until release.

The closest time I would see this fix would be at least 1 year from today.IMO. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Viper groupie. The dial is above average,although no 3 turn and no K-turn and no evade, but dammit, I love using them.

I am really waiting on the next wave. Fenn Rau and Guri? Man I'm wetting my pants just thinking about the possibilities

When I'm not flying Firesprays, Vipers are my guilty pleasure. I love me some Shadows of the Empire and I usually fly this squad of Xizor, IG and a Black Sun Soldier. So much fun.

I loved what FFG did to Defenders in Imp Vets, so I'm hoping for an update like it for Vipers. And Tyber Zann.

For Kihraxzes, I believe a Vaksai title is on its way, maybe with a similar treatment that the Fang Fighter is getting, reinforcing jousting.

Feel like I am the resident Viper in my club and the other London club. . . and most of the UK for that matter. I like the ship, wish it has the TIE Proto title or was just 2 points cheaper over all.

My normal go to is:

Xizor with VI and FCS

5 x Binayre Pirates

or:

Guri with Predator, Autothrusters, Title and Sensor Jammer

Palob with Opportunist, Blaster Turret, Title and K4 Sec Droid.

2 x Black Sun Soldiers

However I am about to try:

Guri with mindlink and thrusters

Palob with mindlink, TLT and title
Manaroo with deadeye, R4 aggro, guidance chips, Proton Torps, Extra Munitions and Boba Fett

I don't usually use the tractor beam, but I like the barrel roll option on Zuck. I like a 9 on Zuck and SJ might help with a hit or two considering he only has 1 green. Guri is my standard build. If I want Predator instead of LW, I'll take Crack off of BSA.

Much like any evil mastermind, I've long since grown weary of incompetent ankle biter minions. Literally every game with Xizor and Z's has been the later bumbling around to their deaths while Xizor did all the work

The jump masters are perhaps the best thing to have ever happened to him. They're beefy and, most importantly, actually competent

Both the torp scout (deadeye r4 proton extra 4lom) and bump master (adapt feedback int) can readily take on any threat alongside Xizor, rather than just be useless fodder more often than not

Ten Head Hunters can kick some real ass with two or three ordnance strikes and tricks like Deadman Switches and other Elicits.

The 100 point meta-game is made to be limited & annoying so we know have horrible Ace-Wing... meh.

Sure you can have more goodies in The Black Sun. I normally just add in a few Y-Wings and or Bounty Hunters to my fleet.

Thug, TLT, R4 Argo, Bomb Loadout, EM, Seismics x 2

LW doesn't kick in till Thugs die, obviously. But by the time they chew through 10 hull 6 shields, hopefully the TLTs and bombs have softened enough for Xizor to shine end game
