Is syndrael blocking leorics line of sight?
Well it depends.
If Syndrael already used her heroic feat, Leoric sees right through her sharade. I mean who can talk convincingly about knowing commitment if their willpower is 2? Her lore is 3, so she does know a thing or two about commitment, but Leoric's lore 5 easily lets him know that it's all smoke and mirror without true intent.
If Syndrael didn't use her heroic feat, Leoric can't see through her, because he doesn't yet know if her heroic feat will show him what true commitment is.
Can leoric attack the art in from where logic is?
No. Leoric is professor at some Terrinoth University, seemingly he's not into sciences, but into humanities and other magic and witch-craft. From his profession he knows that it doesn't make sense to attack the art from a logical standpoint, because art does not abide to logic.
However as a wise erudite, he knows about the weaknesses of logic and how to attack them with art.
Hence Leoric can only attack logic with art, not the other way around.
