Yeah, I sorta submitted mine within an hour and a half of the contest opening and ever since I've been sort of mulling over if I'd have done anything different. I'm still pretty happy with it and I'm planning on trying it out as soon as wave IV drops.

I've been a little amazed at how point heavy some of the Liberty's are. They're good, great even, but I'm uncomfortable with them being on par with ISD II's when I'm fairly sure they'll be biting the dust at some point. (I'd have loved to get Leading shots and Skilled First Officer on it.). Anyway, basic theory is keep the speed up at 3, use the flagship as a command and control vessel tipping localized fighting with tokens, and Tallon keeps Keyan's speed up on approach while the big bad MC80 screens and the MC30c sticks to thwarting anything trying to flank. That way it can potentially break off and corral ships near static objectives.

Essentially, this list uses Konstantine to force opponents into things (obstacles, front arcs ... you know, things) or off of things (namely, the board).

In my imaginary setup ... I would have the GSD set to the side of the table to try and work behind the enemy large/medium base ship. By doing this, I have a small, relatively fast ship to draw activations away from the ISD/INT or help soften targets. I know, Demo "thrives" on going first ... but the move->shoot ability will still come in handy enough so to keep it attached to the ship.

The ISD/INT would stay relatively close to trigger Konstantine and the other navigation shenanigans. The Gozanti + TIE/Bombers basically cover a number of possible roles depending on opponent's fleet list, set up, and early maneuvers: act as a rearguard for streaking CR90s and ship overshoots; stay in formation with the ISD/INT to add firepower; offer a very small speed bump / road block / pathetic-attempt-at-a-screen in the case of overwhelming opponent squadrons to buy a round or two for the main ships; or just hang around the sides and be annoying to passing ships.

This may be like many lists you have already seen or will see but the goal of this list is Navigate commands over everything else. WIth Leia on the board, I can use her to pass on Squadron commands to Yavaris as needed for maximum flexibility. This allows me to save Nav tokens to let Madine do his work so that I can dodge arc and get the best possible line ups to the shot for next turn. The list is like Muhammad Aliâs fighting style.

This list is at 399 and can handle either first or second player equally since there is not much of a bid. Each choice affects gameplay slightly, though the list is not meant to be a speed demon at 3, it can do that when needed to jump out of arcs but that is not always the intent. The list works best at playing it a bit slower and working your way up to jump out of the way.

To ultimately make up for the lack of squadrons, I have decided to use the Nebulon Escort for Salvation though the traditional build is the Support Frigate. This allows me to support my squadrons more which will help me make up for any disparities in the squadron conflict.

Squadrons are straightforward but strong with the use of Luke to punch through shields, Nym to hit the shields and strip tokens, and Keyan to push as much damage as he can through. Squadrons want to entice the opponent and while you may not get a lot out of Flight Coordination Team until the squadron war is won, you have the firepower in the rest of your ships to make up for the loss of the three heavy hitters. If there are not many enemy squadrons to deal with, you can use the three as beaters and strip key ships from the opponent.

Adar Tallon was a choice for an officer slot to set up triple taps from any of the three squadrons but I felt that with the threat of Slicer Tools and the need to get a few rerolls for my blue dice and Nym that Leia and Toryn Farr are better over all choices for the same points.

It's more loaded than I want after reflecting on it, but too late now.

The plan is to use the extra navigation clicks from Madine to stay bow towards the targets and pound them into dust. Escort Nebs to help with flack.

If I could rework it, I would drop the XI7s due to the title,and probably swap the MS1 for leading shots or SW-7s.

While I like my submitted Tagge list, I really wished I used my full squadron Imperial list considering all the similarities in so many posts. Probably wouldn't have been the most competitive of lists but since we have cheap carriers. ^_^

What I put together for the contest. I really want to play with this list, it's not super optimised (I don't think at least) it just spams movement shenanigans and plays to the carrier theme.

The idea was speed control of enemy ships in front of the Victory, and keeping Demo back to push for the knock out blow. The fighters have a lot of punch when activated by the Victory, although I normally like to have an Advanced in there as well.

Was there any indication of their timeline?

None Whatsoever.

Other than the vague hint that it would be done before Wave 4 is in stores, as the winner would be getting their prizes "Pre-Release"
