A travel light storage solution?

By TgLoki, in X-Wing

Hi all,

I have my main storage solution sorted for when I'm playing casual and need lots of different builds with me however I am after more of a tournament setup solution.

Basically I am after something just big enough to fit 2 large ships or 4ish small ships max. Preferably soft and snug inside.

Anyone got any recommendations? :)

Cheers

Ziplock bag. Gallon size.

I have a couple of small wooden boxes with magnets inside and a section for a small cardboard mtg style box on the side. It also has elastic bands on the upper section under the lid which hold all the templates and range rulers. It's a perfect one or two list solution. It's fantastic for tournaments.

Cool thanks

I always liked the "really useful box" series, 1.5L box:

That one doesn't really fit a falcon or larger, but emperor shuttle, yt2400, no problem. Really tiny box that fits exactly one tournament worth of stuff! It even fit under my motorcycle jacket :D

I can recommend this -> https://www.feldherr.net/feldherr-mini-pluslarge-monster-tanks-figure-case/a-43673/

You can customize the foam trays and if you make 6 slots the way below (F=foam, S=space for a ship) you can keep a ship on the base with 1 peg and then fit it's dial under the stand. It's also big enough to fit the rulers in the mesh compartment in the lid (have to place the range ruler diagonally).

BTW: it's not rainproof (learned that the hard way)
