I'm really curios about the new tech card.

Pat... Ana... Does any have any clues about it? It's in the force awakens set. ???

Pattern Analysis? Maybe if someone takes an action you get a response of some type??

I think "Pattern Analyser" is the current popular opinion. Functionality is open to speculation at this point.

I've posted this before, but it's going to be this or something very similar:

the "Perf[ orm Action" step ]

The Se... Clu... in the special forces tie pack have me for interested.

Looks like they allow your to use some kind of action to convert either focus or blank results. If it let you use a target lock as a focus, that would be a huge buff for generics with tech, fo tie, t70, etc. They give you two so I'm guessing it's good.

That seems to make sense. Kinda similar to Advanced Sensors in a way (although with Pattern Analysis a collision still kills your action), but doesn't require the System slot.

you mean weapon's guidance? :P

obi pretty much has it

if it's a one point tech, it could actually see some play. Incredibly situational , BUT it's quite decent on

  1. crackshot Targeting astromech Red Vets (k-turn/t-roll = full mods!)
  2. Poe (always have your focus, even when jousting!)

kinda turns t-70s into miniature defenders (mini-fenders?)

if it's the tech from the Tie/sf pack, that seems to read like a defensive Weapon's Guidance from what little we can see

Patern Analysis Omega Squadrons, with epsilon leader.

He has everything, except proper spelling, lol, :)

A trifle, really :P

Now, assuming that tech is properly priced at 1 (learn from TA, ffg :/) we're looking at

Blue novice TA + PA = 27

Or Red Vet crackshot + TA + PA = 30

Obviously integrated on both

They don't inspire me like 34 point x7 juke glaives, but I can certainly think of worse ships to fly

Sensor

Cluster

When def[ ending, you may ]

spend a [ focus token to ]

change [ 1 of your blank ]

results [ to a E result. ]

E standing in for the Evade symbol to get the spacing right. Weapons Guidance for reference:

The TIE/sf will also be able to equip both (having Sensors and Tech), now all it needs is an infinite Focus stack...

finally, a use for fleet officer

and, of course, probably works best with Poe

in fact, you'll probably need it if you want to run PTL bb-8 at all. **** thing drops so quickly otherwise

Indeed. Pattern Analysis plus Wired means you may actually be better when looping than when flying straight ahead!

If this is the case, targeting astromech, wingman, pattern analysis and autothrusters would make a nice 3 ship jousting build.

with targeting, yes

with wired, you're just left wishing you had crackshot instead

if the tech in hotr lets you perform an action before getting stressed thats going to be a vaaaaaastly desired card. And its in a pack thats probably going to cost ~50 lol fml.

Pretty sure the tie/sf one is a defensive version of the weapons guidance "May spend a focus to change one of your blank results to an evade"

note, it's not an action before getting stressed

it's an action before getting stressed when performing (most likely) a red maneuver

which is vastly more situational

thats still tremendous.

Couple it with the astromech that gives you a TL after you do a red maneuver, you can K-turn around someone and get doubleaction even though it was a red move.
