It's not as big as you think. Remember that reroll happens after accuracies are spent and Demo is a glass ship.
Aye, Ly-ly. I always figured that I'd want to go with the combat refit version, but the Suppressor's tricks are just too fun to ignore. The Target Scrambler mini-lando+Interdictor was exactly what I had in mind. Protect the Gladiator from even the big and scary ships (admittedly I was thinking Red Die monsters that like to close like ISD's because all their accuracies are spent and dice modification rolls are made before Scrambler comes into effect. That said, it does seem like at least a way to potentially ward off the black-die marauders like the MC30's and GSD's, or if you're feeling particularly cruel and have a free activation, an X-wing bombing run (Sometimes the smallest drop of water can break the dam. It would have killed a GSD in my last tournament ).
Now, Scramblers does have that 1-3 leash which usually makes my Demo at extreme range of that tether, but I'll admit I've actually been curious about trying some discount glad I's with ACM+FCT instead of OE. I mean, that's a 25-30 point savings over a tricked out Demo and I'm far more likely to have that in range than trying to force a good attack vector with Demo.
