So the reason players can't move if they are engaged is to prevent Mauler from triggering 3-4 times with a Jumpmaster making everything heavy.

Alesko. What do you Imps think of him? My first thought is
in what world is
receiving
arbitrary commands worth 4 points more than
giving them out
?
What am I missing?

Oh and Alesko and Interdictior can give you 2 tokens a turn

Well, its Additional (You gain an extra, instead of theirs)... And it doesn't really care about wether you've activated or not...
The Interdictor could use it to stack on two Tokens a turn, after all.... Without taking anyone elses.

I love B-Wings and especially Keyan.
This wave (3+4) though, the challenge that I am taking on is making Scourges and Nym work.
Does anybody else feel that so far the breakout stars of this reveal are better for Rebels than Imperials? By a lot?
At least the MC30 had a lot of really powerful Rebel only cards, I feel like all the unique Imperial stuff here I have to think up unusual scenarios to make it good.
Edited by thecactusman17It could just be that we're focused on them, because it is an Imperial Reveal, but half of the Reveal will only be able to be used by the Imperials (unless I'm somehow right and the second variant of Liberty has an Experimental Retrofit) -- So its only natural we're focused on the things that everyone can use - even if the Rebels get more from it, its still a viewpoint from both sides...
it didn't come with an ER upgrade sooooo no luck there
There's also the part where I, a Rebel-exclusive player, have been very noisy and opinionated in this thread.
I'm sorry...
but I won't stop...

Anectodal.
Besides, Flotillas didn't come with offensive retrofit upgrades, but they ahve the slot, too...
Speaking of B-wings, just confirmed: you can, in fact, throw Keyan all the way across the board on turn 1 if you so choose, using the shenanigans I laid out above.
This is where you end up.
but they are readily available in red and blue packs... ER is not
The point of my statement was, i was making a ridiculous claim in the first place when I made it...
I made it on the Liberty Points cost thread. Where I also said that the Liberty would be Speed One with Engine Techs....
Hence why its in tiny script. It is a Joke.
So, the 'shuttle-run' would take apart a GenCon special.
Better bring some fighters boys.
Pack flight controllers.

First off, Imperials just got a way to make their use of Tractor Beams extremely useful.
They are getting more synergy and they are getting new tactical capabilities. So when you say the rebels are getting all the good cards, I have no idea what you are talking about.
Apologies if someone has already pointed this out but Flight Commander for 3 points could be devastating. For a bigger carrier (VSD/AF etc), you could use Xi7s to drill a hole through their shields and then vector all your bombers straight into the hole.
Or you could use overload pulse to exhaust their defence tokens and create major headaches for dealing with the bomber hits.

Also it looks like Vader may see some play now in the Interdictor fleet.
If you're not planning on using two Experimental upgrades, that combat retrofit seems like a solid deal. 3 points for some increased range and the extra AA dice is a solid upgrade.

That's absolutely fair, but I'm really struggling to figure out when I wouldn't want 2 experimental retrofits. Worst case I would happily slap down an extra 2 points to tack on a G7X Grav Well Projector or Grav Shift Reroute onto whatever other experimental retrofit I wanted to run.

True. 2 Contains means easy Vader chow. The only problem is going to be getting in sizable enough attacks to merit it. The upcoming Ion Cannon modification that adds more blue dice to your (unknown) arcs may be the ticket there.
So not directly related to new abilities, but is that a Chiss on the Fighter Coordination Team? Now wouldn't that be a happy thought.

I thought it was just glow from that display, but now that you mention it he does seem pretty blue in the face...
