That's the Interdictor build I had in mind. Add the Interdictor title so that you can use the Scrambler one more time per round. If you have still the points left, add a G-8 EP and a Tractor Beam to drop the speed of the enemy ships that come too close so that they can't flank. If you add Wulff in the officer slot and bank a repair token turn one you can get 8 repair points! So it can transfer 2 shields a turn, repair them and repair another on top of that. Add a targeting scrambler and run the ship close by 2 ISDs or 3 VSDs with Motti. It was discussed when the first reveal for the wave came out. We were able to see it on the card and hoped it have the Support Team slot so it could take Projection Experts. Now that we know it can, it will be a useful ship as an all Support & Control ship.Sorry if this has been mentioned, but I posting before work and haven't read the whole thread. Did anyone else notice engineering value of 5? With projection experts this thing can send 2 shield and rebuild one the same turn. Shame it doesn't have a double support team so you could run engineering teams as well.
I'd like to name this design the Interdoctor. The ultimate repair and protection vessel.

Interdoctor seconded.
Interdictor with two VSDs is too **** expensive for a proper rhymerball.
This game is dead.
Hilariously enough, the G7-X isn't unique. Two of those on the table can lock down almost the entirety of the opponent's deployment zone
Not quite but close yes. You also can't have them both in the same ship. It is in the FAQ. You would need 2 Interdictors in the fleet with them. That is 184 points for that capacity
Are the grav shift tokens and grav well tokens different? The way G7-X reads, it can use any grav well token. But the two cards use different language for their tokens...grav shift token and grav well token. If you have a Suppression Refit with GSR and G7-X, that gives you two grav [something] tokens...but if you can't use both of them for G7-X, then yes, you would need two Interdictors.
When I saw the preview I thought these effects were going to share the new token. But now I'm thinking there is another icon on the other side of that token. The preview only shows one token, though...if it only comes with one, would you even be able to play GSR and G7-X on the same ship in a tournament without buying another Interdictor?

I had that same confusion as well! Took me like 10 minutes to figure out that Grav Well is not Grav Shift.
They might be 2 sided tokens, or you can use an Objective token
My money is on the tokens being double sided to differentiate Grav Well and Grav Shift tokens. Otherwise they'd be usable for both abilities and it would get pretty bonkers.

So...
Apparently Armada isn't dead?

Seriously though the Interdictor reveal shows that the game is maturing nicely. Well done.
Also...
I'm waiting for you rebel scum to throw that crazy-@#$ Keyan/Luke over-extension bull crap so that I can quickly kill them with my superior Imperial squads.
![]()
I wouldn't throw Keyan at you if you had superior squadrons. I almost surely wouldn't do it if you had even token squadrons. What I *might* do is throw it at you if you were running a DeMSU with no squadrons or a pair of TIE fighters, to start putting damage on you early.
As for overextending: remember that lead CR90 has FCT and FC on it. I'll just boogie Luke right back for a second shot on turn 2 as the corvette zooms past your lines.
In reality, nobody is ever going to do it like this. What they are going to do, though, is Kessel Run B-wings from one end of the battlefield to the other in one turn to pivot their focus, which is a huge deal.
I am extremely excited with the potential of B-Wings.
And I misread earlier about FTC. I thought you could just do it ad infinitum so long as you have multiples of them to have Mauler+Dengar+Advanced wreck max squadrons, but you can't move if engaged even with heavy with FTC, so that's not nearly as bad as I thought initially.
As rebel scum, it didn't hit me at first, but... This is the first imperial ship without a black-die variant. Mildly interesting.

They're taking lessons from the Rebellion.
jesus christ the interdictor
this thing is a beautiful canvas waiting to be painted over. the cost is a bit iffy, but man o man what an intriguing base
you can pin people in place with the G-8 Projector
you can screw your opponent's deployment with a modest 2 point investment
you can turn yourself into a roving damage sponge for a close-range fleet using Targeting Scrambler and Projection experts (dat 5 engineering!)
hell, with Wulf or Tarkin you're generating 8 engineering (4 shields, or 3 shields after projecting 2 away) a turn
where the hell do we even begin with this guy?

Stick an Engineering Team on there, Go for Token and Dial, and dispose of a Damage Card and still gain Three Shields!
So hard to stuff all the goodies in one list, but if you want go for just a hardcore leeory Jenkins list, I can see
Suppressor refit (Wulf, G-8, Scrambler, "Interdictor")
With two GSDs (both 1 obviously, both with Ordnance Experts and +1 black out the side arcs; one Demolisher because yeah)
And an ordnance experts Raider 1
Two aggressors I guess?
With the guy from the Gonzati to allow easier token expenditure
390 I think
Just rush in and turn things into an ugly mud slinging slugfest with the Interdictor keeping things in place and either providing a damage sponge or damage mitigation via Scrambler
Option two, for ***** and giggles, is same thing but with the pseudo Tbeams commander and as many naked VSD-1s as you can stomach
I'm just waiting for the 3 Interdictor "Tarkin tank list." Target Scramblers and Engineering Teams everywhere, Tarkin just spamming the Engineering token command, Engineering dials piling up everywhere. Quite silly. The main problem being you actually need to destroy something at some point to win.

Double arc Interdictors do throw out decent numbers of dice
Just gotta slug it out

Oh it's quite possible, mind you. It's just raw beatdown isn't what Interdictors do, and faced with a heavier fleet (larger ships) or a flightier fleet (fast red dice skirmishers) you might have some trouble actually putting an opponent's ships in the ground*. You'd likely want Tractor Beams on all of them and a G8+Interdictor title on a Suppressor Refit to help manage the enemy speed so they stay stuck.
*or "space ground" if you prefer. It's all rather confusing.

Really? You would have resigned yourself to losing the squadron war? A-Wings are good but they're not THAT good.
Honestly I think it's more hats off to Ardaedhel here more than anything, by rights those TIE/In should have chewed through those A-Wings. Even with the jump on the TIE/Ins in that turn, every A-Wing should have taken 1.5 dmg in counter (as swarm would have still been active). Then in the squadron phase taken another 2 dmg on average (this time without swarm) from the TIE/In they were now engaged opposite with. 3.5 dmg of course isn't a real result (you'd obviously have a mix of 3 and 4) but still.
I think the idea that TIEs (and TIE/In) suck no matter how many or how few you take is one that will bite you in the ass. They're wicked lethal AA, especially when their potency is increased by the great Imperial synergies.
I think you are misreading something here Cap. TIE/ln is a lowercase"LN" for "line fighter", not an uppercase "i" lowercase "n" for "interceptor". He had 9 regular bog standard tie fighters, not 9 interceptors. I know that confused the heck out of me when I first started posting on the x-wing forums.

Oh, whoops, missed that. FLore is correct, they were vanilla TIEs, not Interceptors.

Can you double up on on the same upgrade card for a ship? Can a suppression refit take take double G7X grav Wells?
No, that's an Errata.
You cannot have duplicate upgrade cards on one ship.
This was first brought up with the ISD-1. It is not allowed to take Double Expanded Hangars.
