First, Do No Harm - A Moral Duty and Obligation Party Concept

By Guest, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Far Horizons (Colonists) introduced rules for businesses as a base of operations. As a player, I loathe having to pay for regular and routine purchases, like food, equipment, and all to commonly- healing aids. Our fantasy campaign took on new dimensions when our cleric and paladin served in a temple as our base. These mundane things became far easier to obtain, and also role-play in finer detail.

Also, Far Horizons digs deeper into doctor careers. We have Medics in Age of Rebellion and Healers in Force and Destiny. Do these three base careers help facilitate the business? Alternatively, would non-lethal characters (ie: an Ithorian Armorer wielding a Kimber Crystal-powered lightsaber while wearing modified (survival-based?) armor be a more pliable career in this instance?

Essentially, without needing to develop the entire party, do you think a healing-minded (or at least damage-reducing) focus could be a way to unite various characters for a party, with viable resources and direction for money and morality accumulation? What else might this party need to consider to be well-rounded?

Thanks in advance!
