I'm a little confused. Can I move the shadow soul one space per turn? Or use it's two actions to move it 2 spaces?
Shadow soul familier
Familiars only have 1 move action. In the case of the Shadow Soul it means that it can move a single space per turn following the rules for familiar movement. However, in some case, familiars are granted other actions through the heroes skills cards. For example, the Reanimate is allowed to perform an attack action in addition to its move action because the familiar card of the Necromancer says it is. This is restricted to only the specified actions, the Reanimate is not allowed to, for example, open a door.
In general, familiars can perform one move action per turn - and nothing else, except if it is written on the card of the familiar. The shadow soul has speed 1, thus, it can move 1 space per turn.

Although the soul only moves by 1, there are two skills in the shadow walker's arsenal that allow him to reposition it.
Both Soul Bound and Faithful Friend allow you to place the Shadow Soul. If it is already on the map, you remove it from where it is and place it in its new spot AND if it has not yet activated, you can then activate it and move it 1 space, providing it's still the Shadow Walker's turn.
