Has anybody played Dengar without the Punishing One upgrade? I like his ability and pilot skill but the Punishing One is too expensive for my dumb self to get him killed too fast. The one thing I’m worried about is the lack of green dice. Critiques for this concept list are very welcome!

I think Punishing One is worth it on Dengar personally, but I can definitely see a list without him working. That said, I feel like you're trying to do too much here - there's a few key things you're missing. Dengar needs an R4 agromech; it's what makes the torp boats so good. You might also want Recon Specialist rather than 4-Lom; 4-Lom is good, but specialist lets you have focus + lock for both of Dengar's shots, which is crucial if you're not running Punishing One. Heck, you could even fire both torps off at something in the initial engagement - not much is going to survive that. You'd have to downgrade either Kavil or Zuckuss; if you drop Kavil (and add 4-Lom to Zuckuss), you've got 23 points left to play with, enough for N'dru Sulak with Clusters, Guidance Chips and Lone Wolf. If you have to keep the PS 9 theme, I'd drop FCS from Zuckuss to at least put the agromech on - it's that important on Dengar.

Title on Dengar is huge. It makes guidance chips better. It makes the turret equal to a decimator. It makes his "payback" shot better.
