Forgot about the large base restriction, guess that fleet goes to the top of the trash pile.

Its on top of about 9 of mine today alone.......

So, no hard feelings there :D

You guys are missing a trick! I know he does not effect a Liberty but it is still useful ^_~

This is going to be Cool!

CREATIVE POWERS ACTIVATE!!!

Hi guys my computer is still a paperweight and I have worked 53 hours Last week is something happening in Armada?

Not yet. But we'll be getting Interdictor and Liberty previews ASAP, and then there's a competition to make a list that includes them to submit....

... Can win everything in the list, basically....

But you've got until the 5th... So chase down a computer ONCE YOU SLEEP YOU CRAZY BASTARD.

So everyfleet will have at least:

Mc80 liberty (95-110ish)

Gr75 (18 at least)

Doddona (20) at least

So rebels have about 138 points or so spoken for leaving about 260 points to build with.

Imperials have:

Interdictor (85-95) at least

Gozanti (23)

Ozzel (20) at least

Leaving about 130-135 points spoken for so again 260-270 points to actually build with.

Anyway random thought...

Looks like my assessment was wrong

We should see articles Wednesday and Friday as usual.

AND UPGRADES

(Plus an Imperial commander...)

Edited by Eggzavier

Are we all assuming tomorrow? Or do you think they stick with their Wednesday Friday release tendencies?

I think Wednesday and Friday like normal

Probably interdictor first

Does this mean they'll be shipping earlier than usual too, do we reckon?

I think they might of caught on about how rabid everyone is to play the new stuff on Vassal until it comes out. If it's being done anyway, they might as well have a contest and fan the fires. :D

I hope those previews are going to be good. I'm planning on a control Imp list with that Interdictor. Maybe even using two of those evil triangles.

Why Sam Stewart. . . Why must you make this a huge pain. . .

For those who are curious on my mini rant

Sam Stewart

"I like playing Rebel fleets that take advantage of their flexibility and maneuverability to strike at opponents where they are weakest."

This makes a VSD based list annoying. . . Unless you can find a flexible and quick hitting method. . .

Ok, first impressions of the judges.

Michael Gernes

Likely one of the minds behind Soontir Fel and Mauler Mithel. He likely prefers squadron synergy so Imperial lists that use this will likely be good for him. Rebels will need to generate synergy through their versatility. . . Won't be easy. 8x YT2400's likely won't cut it here.

Max Brooke

Max might of been behind Gallant Haven. . . I don't know how long he has been with the team (I think that goes with them all actually, though Michael Gernes is lead I believe). This is the guy to impress with Admiral Chiraneau and such things. Make sure to outline the basics and add some depth to squadrons. Once again, 8x YT2400's likely won't cut it

Alex Davy

Alex is a Fleet builder after my own heart. He wants something competitive but not really optimized. He wants to see the spark there still. So basic Ackbar Toilet Bowles might not work. Maybe something along my Neb's Away list. He wants a list built around the commander so make sure to put that in the fleet description.

Sam Stewart

Sam is a rebel player who likes likes speed and maneuverability to exploit weakness. DtO would do great here if it met the criteria. DeMSU would work as well but once again does not fit the criteria. Maybe Pt106 with a flotilla and Interdictior. . . Since Sam likes exploitation make sure to put that in the build description.

No. I'd be shocked if they were legal for GenCon, but they may be out just in time for Worlds.

You may also be able to buy them at GenCon. I think of they're printing copies already, they'll make sure people can spread the word.

"Which facing of your VSD is the weakest?"

"All of them."

The VSD is a powerhouse in the right hands. It just requires a vastly different play style than the common Imperial play.

The same way ISD did.

The ISD has the benefit of a a few more options die to its speed and upgrades.

All true however I feel that VSD has s a better synergy with Interdictor in a high activation list.

Throw Tarkin in there and *kiss fingers* Much yum!
