I'm generally in favor of catching huffy impatient players on missed triggers and meaningless procedural rules. They need to learn to calm down, because it's /just plastic spaceships/. Plus, if they do get huffy, then it can cascade into further mistakes. It's easier to kick a man if you push him down first.

On second thought, I'd rather not demonize the OP any further. He made a bad decision, and it didn't work out in his favor. I hope he's read the suggestions of people here and learned something. I mean he COULD have had a questionable dmg deck also, but I think it's more likely that he instead mistook this whole thing for a power trip and unfortunately decided to stand his ground, so to speak. Bad call to do that when you are in the wrong.

Hopefully lesson learned!

OP is an entitled, short-tempered jerk and quit the game over nothing. Excellent! One less jackass with a frail ego that we have to deal with babysitting at tournaments.
