A local store just posted the solicitation from ffg that says we should have wave 4 by September.

Roughly matches expectations. At that point expect to see W4 available for prepurchase at GenCon. Also possibly definitely playable in Worlds.

Everyone missed pretty badly for Wave 2. August was the time it was supposed to come out last year. That's about the same time all of their model games had major production issues simultaneously.

There has been a person on Ebay who has been advertising Wave 3 & 4 for pre-purchase to be delivered in July (Though they have a disclaimer at the bottom for timeliness depending on delays in manufacturing) I have been turning a raised eyebrow of disbelief towards his authenticity. I assume he /she will make a sale and then SURPRISE! It will be delayed because it's not out yet.

Yep, put in a delivery disclaimer on EBay as a Merchant, and you are protected from people who with to refund simply on failure to provide on-time delivery.

Mostly, it stops people putting in an order, waiting for it to "ship", and then cancelling the order and getting a Refund through Ebay/Paypal for their purchase, and then still receiving the goods.

Oh please. That was planned for months ahead of time. Not even Disney can snap their fingers and produce a million units in two weeks. But if anyone wanted to make Star Wars merch for Disney, they had to be on time.

Notably, this means NO for Gencon and YES for worlds, even with some slip for the timeframe.

Fantasy Flight is never late, nor are they early. They arrives precisely when they mean to.

This is the first set of waves since the merger went into effect, and there's no dock strike this time. I choose to be optimistic.

10 weeks from the time they put it on the boat is pretty standard. 8 weeks for miniatures on the boat, then 2 weeks once it is listed as "shipping".
