First post here and I've been safely securing dead last in every event I participate in, so I know there'll be too many flaws to count but I'm looking for a way to make ordinance work with Imperials. I've got a decent collection of Imperials and have grown to love ordinance.
List 1: Frank Castle
Redline (PS7 Tie Punisher): 27
Autothrusters: 2
Proton Bombs: 5
Cluster Mines: 4
Assault Missiles: 5
Cluster Missiles: 4
Extra Munitions: 2
Proton Torpedoes: 4
Fire Control System: 2
Ship total: 55pts
Rexler Brath (PS8 Tie Defender): 37
Twin Ion Engine Mk. II: 1
Tie/D:0
Push the Limit: 3
Tractor Beam: 1
Proton Rockets: 3
Ship total: 45 pts
I've been toying around with this list for quite some time, and am now waiting to get my hands on the Imperial Veterans pack to give this rendition a swing. Its current form, Rexler takes a heavy laser cannon and outmaneuver in lieu of the tractor beam, title and PTL while "Frank" (redline) uses some of the cheaper torpedoes and bombs. It's been doing fairly well, but still not well enough to take a win.
List 2: "Star Kitty"
This list gets its name from one of my friends who called his first list "Starfox", running 4 x-wings. His brother later created "Starwolf" using 4 kihraxz fighters. I decided to make a list using 4 of the same ship for imperials to see how it could do. With 4 Tie bombers, I figured they were always attacking the red dots (target locks) and it plays into my affection of ordinance. Haven't had the opportunity to playtest it yet, but I wanted to see what the community thought about it.
Captain Jonus (PS6 Tie Bomber): 22
Twin Ion Engine Mk. II: 1
Tie Shuttle: 0
Adaptability: 0
Fleet Officer: 3
Systems Officer: 2
Ship Total: 28pts
3x Scimitar Squadron Pilot (PS2 Tie Bomber): 16
Guidance Chips: 0
Extra Munitions: 2
Flechette Torpedoes: 2
Concussion Missiles: 4
Ship Total: 24pts x 3 ships = 72pts
