ok so I have some friends coming over tonight and I think we're going to play lotr lcg! I've not been on the forum for a long time if any of you remember me cause a) I've been really busy and b) Im not rich and can't afford all the new sets which is what most of the descussion is about. But anyway, I have all the quests through druadan forest in the normal cycle as well as assault on Osgiliath, voice of Isengard, trouble at tharbard, the Nin-in-eilph and the antlered crown as well as all the saga through black riders. I kept buying new quests but kinda got fed up of paying lots of money. Anyway, there are four of us and I have no idea what to do when it comes to decks. I kinda tried to build some but they weren't creative or powerful. I don't need anything really incredible, I don't need to use all my card pool, and I can somewhat reforge a deck that has a few cards from later pool, but I really want some good decks that are pretty strong and not too complecated cause my friends have never played before. I was also thinking we would play the seventh level, although Im not quite decided. Its lots of combat, not to hard, and pretty fun four player. Any comment would be helpful. If not, thats fine. Im also going to try to come back more often and comment more. well anyway, thanks, yall are the best, and I've really missed this community the last months.
need decks
This is a tall order. I don't think you'll find someone with 4 decklists with your specific set restrictions lying around.
This might help:
http://www.ringsdb.com/decklists/search
Click the "Select allowed packs" on the right and enter your specific cardpool and then search away.
thx, seastan. Yah, I wasn't really sure whether it would work but I thought I'd give it a try.
Looking through the heroes you have available, here is a suggested fellowship.
Beregond, Mablung and Legolas - Pure Combat: run all the Silvan/Noldor weapons, get them on Legolas, Haldir and Glorfindel.
Thorin, Ori and Nori - Early game quester, Late game whatever is needed: Steward of Gondor, dwarf swarm with A Very Good Tale
Dain, Gloin and Outlands - Late Game Quester: use Narvi's Belt on Gloin to help dump out the Outlands. Run Faramir.
Haldir, Glorfindel (Spirit) and Eleanor - Ranged Combat & Support deck: Asfaloth, Elf-Stone, Lembas, Light of Valinor, Unexpected Courage and Cancels. Elrond's Counsel to manage threat and Renewed Friendship for when you get weapons.
