My Interdictor guesses:

Suppression Retrofit better be 90.

Combat Retrofit = 78

Speed = 2

Why would the combat version be less? Only reason I could think of is if it got 2 Officer upgrades and 2 Experimental upgrades. . . .

That is my exact guess. For the Experimental Retrofit, not the officer.

The Combat Refit is the ship shown on the base, and it can't possibly justify an 80-90 point investment even with the upgrades described. But a premium in place of taking a second Interdictor makes lots of sense for 90 points and also explains the second title.

The Combat Retrofit could have Double officer slots. The reason I even guess that is because of all the officer cards in the preview. Before the fact down Commander, there are possibly of them and 2 are unique. I dont remember any set that had that many different officers. So if there was a ship that had double officer slots, it could be the Interdictior since it was a Command and Control ship at times.

Already did mine for the Liberty so... For the Interdictor:

Both Speed 2, yaws of 1 and 1-1 respectively.

Combat Retrofit - 84

Officer, Support team, Offensive Retrofit, Expiremental Retrofit, Ion Cannons

Suppressor - 90

Officer, Support team, Experimental Retrofit x2, Ion Cannons

I do like the idea of double officers, Lyraeus. Also, Suppresor varient gets 2 experimental slots, that's why it's more expensive. IMNSHO (In My Not So Humble Opinion)

Sorry, couldn't resist. But yeah, the thing I'm stunned by isn't the double Experimental, it's making the Combat even more expensive without a turbolaser or defensive slot.

Defensive Retrofit, Weapons Team, Ion and Turbolasers, Officer, and Support Team for the Battlecruiser.

The alternate version will have Offensive Retrofit, Weapons Team, Ion and Turbolasers officer and Support Team.

Awww, so sorry I missed this fun post! (Not that I would have guessed the Interdictor correctly, besides the 90 points that was spoiled in the Wave IV preview... maybe).

For the Liberty, I'm guessing 106 and 112. Just because I can't imagine it being more expensive than the MC-80, and I can't fathom a large ship cheaper than 100. I would guess speed 3 for both, since in my mind's eye, this seems like a fun candidate to run with a Neb gun-line, and that would also make it a sorta-ISD-wanna-be. And it will have Gunnery Team, which will make it compatible with Ackbar-AFIIs. In other words, it will be everything the Rebels need to feel like they have a chance against the shenanigans of the Interdictors.

-laughs- No worries Rythbryt, hopefully this won't be the first and last topic of its kind. Maybe it'll be a pre-preview Wave V thing. But you still made it in time for the Liberty!

It's an interesting guess and I can certainly get behind it too. But I still wonder if they will go speed 2 or 3 as that makes a big different to me (yeah, neb gunline for me too along with maaaaybe a Slicer float). But I am really really looking forward to tomorrows. preview.

I'll still admit I'm pretty surprised about the 90 and 93 point Interdictor, but the Experimentals are stupendously fun looking!

Me too! Except for speed. Nailed the cheapest one and missed the most expensive by one.

I was 1 point off the Star cruiser.

Oh and if you check the original theory thread, I was correct on the movement chart!

Some real good and close guesses there people. GhostDancer got the closest for the Liberty at 2/3 (but 2/2 for guesses made. Crazy!) Ginkapo, one off of both prices, nicely done Caldais, you got awful close too, as did ItzSteve who picked the right points for our shiny new Star Cruiser but said it was the more expensive of the two.

Hopefully it was a bit of fun for ya'll! Guess I'll have to start working up a Wave V thing, eh?
