yeah like every region except americas? lol...

Let me know when the Fang preview is up in early August

Wow the article is really pushing Mission Play. Yah Whoo!!!

I wonder if there is any chance they'll update Mission Control?

Edited by Ken at Sunrise

ive yet to do a single mission. I'd rather use the ships in some odd RPG game than do a mission personally.

While obviously i havnt played them so i really cant say this with concrete, but i always felt like any game with scenarios to play one side is heavily biased for. Different game modes is fine but scenarios...kinda hard to keep them balanced when you add wonky things to the mix.

Lucky enough to get my copy today :)

Here's some images for you!

I was wondering that myself. If they want to push mission play the should really do things like:

Update Mission Control

Post the released missions on Mission Control (fans have done some of them already, but having FFG do them officially would be nice)

Better support for cinematic play in tournaments

I like what they have done on the last couple of released missions. The bomb flinging on this is an interesting mechanic. And I think we have one with moving asteroids, which is also a very cool concept.

I look forward to getting this release in hand though. One of the local stores will be holding a copy for me when it arrives.

I especially like that in the last mission it came with a prebuilt squad. Of course we are not obligated to take it but it's a great go-to for any game night. I wish all missions where this way.

would be cool to be able to sling bombs in normal play..

Wow...I almost missed the whole mission discussion. That's actually impressive. I thought it was a useless article, but that actually gets me interested in the mission that comes with it. Maybe they are going to focus on missions a bit in the future? One more article about missions would equal a trend.

Yes, they need to update Mission Control and add some sort of tagging/searching system.

Some missions are better than others. There are some missions that with certain builds makes it utterly impossible to lose with. Some of them are pretty even, though. Oh, you can still take the wrong build vs. an opponent, but there isn't a built in "this side will always win with this build" situation. I think Mission 1 is a lot of fun, especially with all the new stuff. I think it makes ships like the Tie Punisher and Misthunter very useful.

I wish they'd gone with the grey and white pattern on the Defender too. The red ones are just too jarringly off-color with the rest of the Imperial ships. It's the same reason I never use the red Interceptor from Aces either.

what wasn't said

"some of the older veterans expired during the long ass delay"

*Yawn*. When are we getting a real article with real content?

*Yawn*. When are we getting a real article with real content?

do you really want previews of things we, judging by how long vets took to come out, probably won't see in our lifetime :P

I like the article and hope this means FFG is moving toward more missions :)

Edit: Also, I need to see the TIE/sf dial so I can complain some more about how bad that ship looks.

I thought that was a let sleeping dogs lie thing .

I am really hoping for a Heroes of the Resistance article.
