Hello gents. I've been playing a lot of games with the following list. It struggles against uboats, yes. But not impossible.

The idea is you focus fire. Hehe. Boba boosting into range 1 is wonderful. He excels at range 1. Inertial dampers might be used early to avoid a u boat volley.

Y wings take focus always, and go into AC-130 mode. Patrol the outside and plink at whatever Boba is shooting.

I've chewed through mini swarsm, imperial aces, lambdas, ghosts, etc.

Simple. Deadly. Y wings are extra simple. Bona tales some thought.

Ideas?

I've actually started in X-Wing with this exact build. It's a great list, but it'll only get you so far (if you're worried about competing, that is).

Eventually, I moved on to Bounty Bros (Boba/IG), which is a superior list in terms of net efficiency. But I fiddled with a variation of this list not so long ago:

Palob Godalhi (20):

• Crackshot (1)
• Twin Laser Turret (6)
• Greedo (1)

Palob significantly improves my chances against the current meta just by being there. CrackGreedo can be WiredZuckuss, both variations work. If Imp Aces are a problem, I tend to CrackGreedo because crits. If not, WiredZuckuss gives more survivability.

Thug doesn't really need Unhinged. R4 improves both TLT shots. Pretty much a given.

Boba stripped down to the bare bones. 4-LOM x Gunner is a complicated matter made simple by the fact that you're saving 4 pts to do the same work against aces. While Gunner protects you from bad dice and has no side-effect, 4-LOM allows you to improve the rest of your squad and doesn't feel like a points dump if your red dice are collaborating. I love both but I'm leaning towards 4-LOM in wave 8 due to the prevalence of Imp Aces and my need for other quality team members.

With the point left, you can give Inertial Dampeners to someone or devolve VI to Adaptability and give Boba Glitterstim, which he appreciates. Or keep the PS10 bid, ofc.
