The truth is if you see a release date for FFG plan it them not happening until 1-2 months later, then your never disappointed.

I pre-ordered 2, but if there's an initial shortage at the FLGS, I'll just pick one up for now. Everyone deserves Defender (and Bomber) goodness.
Eff that, lots of people were detractors of the Defender. They can wait.
The issue I have is it will be legal for GenCon in the states and I don't have time to get enough reps to learn it. I am slightly below average player but want to at least be somewhat competitive. Done whining.
Try it out on Vassal, you can get SOME testing in that way...
Or, you know, proxy before release. There's nothing so earth shattering that you can't fudge it for practice.

Mine came from Amazon (uk) yesterday. Very happy as the expected delivery dates they gave me when ordering were the 27th-30th.
So the morals is order from Amazon.

When I placed my order it said expected delivery date was the 29th. Then got an email this morning saying it was being delivered today
my order from Miniature market hasn't even shipped yet :-/ Shoulda went with Amazon. oh well. It will get here when it gets here.
